Final Magazine

 What I've Learnt:

To create my magazine i used fireworks, which is a software that i already knew how to use. However i learnt how to base the content of my magazine and its house style on the target audience, For example, The people who will read my magazine are aged around 12-19, and i know that they would prefer a magazine with more colours, to be simple and not much text, and the font to be sans serif. So i had to stick to that and I also learnt how to place things correctly to make them look good, For example on the front cover the transparent box with text on, wouldn't look as good as it does if all the text wasn't in line, and making sure the layout wasn't crowded or the colour of the font clashed with the background. I also realised how difficult it was to pick a good name for the magazine was also challenging, as you had to make it catchy and original, and because i struggled with making it look interesting and original, i looked at other media products such as Billboard and VOGUE to get good masthead idea's. I also did this for the Contents page, as all real magazines have as little space as possible to i researched to see what kinds of things where on the page. If didn't do this i wouldn't have learnt how to make my magazine unique and professional.
I think my magazine looks like a real, and could be sold in shops, I feel i now have the knowledge to create a full magazine.
